On 27 Oct, we held the first of three transformative workshops in partnership with FridayMakers and supported by The Majurity Trust, held at Sing Lit Station. This session brought together core volunteers from MWS, providing them with practical tools to lead with impact and collaborate more effectively within their teams.
Our facilitator, Daria Kalista from FridayMakers, guided the group through insightful coaching frameworks and activities focused on improving communication and enhancing team cohesion.
Here’s what some of our participants had to say:
📝 Indah W. Yosevina shared:
“The workshop exceeded my expectations! I gained practical tools for enhancing my self-awareness, giving better feedback, and communicating constructively. It has empowered me to become a better team player and leader in the future.”
📝 Julie Ann Tabigne added:
“This workshop has really encouraged me to be more sensitive in terms of the needs of the MWS members and to be more upfront in every action, to strengthen trust and fairness in the team. Being a leader requires a lot of patience and it is a learning journey with trial-and-error, but in the end, it is the sincerity in the heart and purpose that inspires us to be leaders and volunteers. I look forward to the next session. I am sure it will unlock new knowledge that I can use in my leadership and personal growth.”
We’re grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the growth of these incredible volunteers and are excited to see the impact this will have on their leadership journeys. 💪✨
Thank you to FridayMakers, The Majurity Trust, and Sing Lit Station for their support in making this series of workshops possible!
