The inaugural edition was held on 14 March 2021, celebrating migrant literature in the midst of a challenging year. It featured sharing sessions from writers, editors, and translators such as Rolinda Onates Española, Omar Faruque Shipon, Windu Lestari, and Aaron Maniam.
The Migrant Book Fair returned for a second edition on 20 March 2022, continuing to provide a platform for migrant writers and promote their work. Participating guests included Eric Tinsay Valles, Amit Choudhury, Rema Tabangcura, and Theophilus Kwek, who shared about their writing.
